Podcast series featuring WTC attack survivors launched
New York: The World Trade Center Memorial Foundation has launched a podcast series that will feature interviews with the creators of the planned Memorial Museum at Ground Zero as well as first hand accounts from those affected by the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.
The podcast, launched ahead of the fifth anniversary of the attack, offers an insider’s view of evolution of museum project as also 9/11 stories which will eventually be included in the museum.
The inaugural programs include conversations with WTC Memorial Museum Director Alice M. Greenwald and newly retired fire department Lieutenant Mickey Kross, a survivor of attacks.
“The Memorial Museum podcast series will inform and educate people around the world about ongoing plans to develop the Memorial and Museum, and will feature personal stories of courage, compassion, tragic loss, renewal and hope from those directly affected by the events of September 11th,” World Trade Center Memorial Museum Director Alice Greenwald said.
The Foundation will post new podcasts on it website form which recordings can be played on computers or downloaded to MP3 listening devices and are available for download on iTunes
