Home Furnishing : Pottery Barn candles recalled

Home furnishing store Pottery Barn is recalling its gourd-shaped candles. They include five styles of individual candles and a set of eight mini-gourd candles.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the flame can get too high and could fail to go out when the candle burns to the bottom.

Consumers should stop using the candles and return them to Pottery Barn for a full refund. The candles are priced from $12 to $24 each.

Located east of Interstate 95, the strip center sits within a few hundred yards of such retailing giants as Lowe’s Home Improvement, Super Target, Home Depot and Wal-Mart Supercenter. Traffic counts show an average of 33,000 vehicles passing by the complex each day. Read more » »
