Heifer Architects Win National Award

The architects of the Heifer International building are being honored for their work.

The Little Rock firm of Polk Stanley Rowland Curzon Porter was named a 2007 national award winner by the American Institute of Steel Construction for their work on the Heifer International building.

They were chosen from among 100 other submissions for three different categories.

(Reese Rowland, Head Architect) “This is a perfect example how architecture can be meaningful and contribute to a cause. I am really honored to accept this award for this firm and for the structural team at Cromwell, who did an outstanding job on this, Apco Steel, CDI, it was a complete team effort.”

The Ideas II award puts Heifer International in pretty good company, with Hearst headquarters in New York, the Denver Art Museum, and the University of Phoenix stadium.
