Ceramic Tiles of Italy is seeking projects showcasing Italian ceramic tile for its 15th annual Design Competition. Entries for the competition, open to North American interior designers and architects, are due January 11.

Submissions may be domestic and international new construction and renovation projects in three categories: Residential, commercial, and institutional. Projects must be completed between January 2003 and January 2008.

A $5,000 cash prize and a trip to two international tradeshows–Coverings and Cersaie 2008–will go to a winner in each category. Coverings will be held in Chicago April 29-May 2 and Cersaie 2008 will be held in Bologna, Italy September 30-October 4. A 1,000 prize will also be bestowed on a contractor and distributor team.

Applicants may submit an unlimited number of entries and there is no entry fee.
