Glass Archicture Building Design, Hotel Murano Building

Hotel Murano, decked out with the work of over 40 glass artists from around the world, will open in downtown Tacoma, Washington in March 2008. Featured artists include Dale Chihuly of the United States, Hiroshi Yamano of Japan, Richard Whiteley of Australia, Miriam de Fiore of Italy, Karen La Monte of the Czech Republic, Vibeke Skov of Denmark, Janusz Walentynowicz of Poland, and Costas Varotsos of Greece, among others.

Singapore Airport Terminal Interior Design

AUSTRALIAN firm Woodhead has achieved more design success through its pivotal role in creating the interior of the impressive new Terminal 3 at Singapore’s Changi Airport.

The Australian firm, along with Wilson and Associates Singapore, won the bid for the interior and retail design of T3 in June, 2000.

Seven years later, its efforts are set to wow passengers using the stylish new terminal.

The $S1.75 billion ($1.33 billion), 380,000sqm terminal is meant to boost Changi’s already strong claim to be the world’s favourite transit airport.
