During the London Design Festival, Design Museum launching an annual exhibition called Designer in Residence.
In this exhibition to provide springboard and five designer have been selected to appear in the show. Designer in Residence will be Sarah van Gameren, Chris O’Shea, Tomas Alonso Richard Sweeney and Finn Magee.
The MLP 400 series gives a distinctive look to benches, trash containers, and planters. “Bench” seems too mundane a word to describe Wim Segers’s Monolith. Sikaflex, an innovative outdoor adhesive, allows for a “non-slatted” construction that is suited to both indoor and outdoor use. Dimensions are 106 inches long, 22 inches deep, and 26 inches high.
